Drawing Tab and Settings
In Cadify, 3D models drive product definition, but drawings remain essential for turning designs into manufacturable products. They provide a clear, standardized way to communicate dimensions, tolerances, and specifications, ensuring accuracy across teams. Because drawings are universally understood, they serve as a common language between engineers, suppliers, and production staff. In Cadify, drawings stay dynamically connected to product data, so when a customization is made, the drawing updates automatically reduce errors, eliminating rework, and keeping the production process efficient.
Task Pane
The Cadify Drawing task pane makes it easy to manage drawing annotations. You can pull in specific model dimensions to use directly in the drawing or define your own drawing dimensions for each sheet. Notes can be added in two ways: Relative Notes, which stay dynamically positioned relative to the model, and Fixed Notes, which remain anchored to the drawing sheet (e.g., for BOMs). Annotation value, placement and formatting can be adjusted directly in the task pane or driven automatically from Cadify MASTER.
